Lancashire then made 96 all out in their second-innings, setting Kent a target of 82 for victory. Kent reached their target with three wickets to spare, although Greenwood, who batted at number five in this innings, was dismissed for 13 runs by William McIntyre.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Kent v Lancashire, 1873 )〕 This was his only major appearance.
